Directed by Clint Eastwood, Space Cowboys stars Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland and James Garner as four former Air Force test pilots who finally get the chance to travel into space decades after their original astronaut ambitions were cut short. Reunited when NASA needs their expertise to repair a failing Russian satellite, the veteran crew must undergo training before taking on a mission that proves far more dangerous than expected. The film combines a space-mission adventure with friendship, ageing and a final high-stakes rescue in orbit.
