Based on the Marvel Comics series by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev, Spider-Woman: Agent of S.W.O.R.D. (2009) follows Jessica Drew after the events of Secret Invasion. Recruited by S.W.O.R.D. to hunt alien threats on Earth, Spider-Woman is drawn into a darker Marvel story involving Skrulls, espionage and her own fractured identity. The series combines superhero animation, alien-hunting missions and Marvel spy-action.
