Basil Colemans Spiders Web (1982) adapts Agatha Christies stage play for television, starring Penelope Keith as Clarissa Hailsham-Brown, a diplomats wife who finds herself entangled in murder, secrets, and cover-ups. Mixing drawing-room comedy with classic whodunit intrigue, its a lighter yet suspenseful entry in Christies mystery canon.
