Street Trash (1987)
Directed by J. Michael Muro, Street Trash follows a group of vagrants who fall victim to a toxic, decades-old liquor that causes grotesque and unexpected consequences across a rundown urban neighborhood. The film blends splatter-house excess with pitch-black comedy, leaning into chaotic visual effects and anarchic social satire. Its mix of shock value, grimy atmosphere, and cult-minded humor made it a distinctive entry in 80s exploitation cinema.

Street Trash (2024)
Directed by Ryan Kruger, Street Trash reimagines the cult classic for a modern audience, following a new wave of characters as an unstable substance once again wreaks havoc in a fractured, gritty community. The film blends contemporary social commentary with stylized body-horror set pieces, echoing the originals blend of chaos and dark humor. Its energetic tone and updated visual approach bring the cult concept into a modern exploitation framework.
