Classic musical starring Hayley Mills. When a close-knit Boston family loses their fortune, they find a wealth of family secrets, young love, and charming summer nights in Beulah, Maine. A good-natured postmaster, pretentious cousin Julia (Deborah Walley), and the mysterious absentee landlord, Mr. Hamilton (Peter Brown), populate their new life in a charming old yellow house.
It was the fourth of six films that Mills appeared in for Disney, and the young actress received a Golden Globe nomination for her work.
