Directed by Zack Snyder and produced by Christopher Nolan, Man of Steel (2013) rebooted the Superman mythos for a new era. When Kryptons last son, Kal-El (Henry Cavill), discovers his origins and powers on Earth, his destiny collides with General Zod (Michael Shannon), threatening humanitys survival. Blending science fiction, action, and mythic gravitas, Man of Steel reimagines Supermans story through a modern lens of identity, morality, and power.
