Directed by Dario Argento, The Card Player is an Italian crime thriller about a killer who abducts women and forces the police into online poker games where the victims lives are at stake. Stefania Rocca stars as a police inspector working with an Irish detective, played by Liam Cunningham, to track the murderer through a digital cat-and-mouse investigation. The film combines serial-killer crime, police procedural suspense and early-2000s techno-thriller elements within Argentos later giallo-linked work.

Från IMDB:
A Rome policewoman teams up with a British Interpol agent to find a crafty serial killer who plays a taunting game of cat-and-mouse with the police by abducting and killing young women and showing it over an Internet web cam.
