Directed by Neil Marshall, The Descent stars Shauna Macdonald and Natalie Mendoza in a British horror film about a group of women who become trapped during a cave expedition. Alex Reid and MyAnna Buring co-star in a claustrophobic survival horror story where grief, panic, darkness and underground creatures turn the descent into a fight for survival. The film combines cave horror, creature horror, psychological pressure and brutal isolation.
