The Hunger Games film series (2012 2015) adapts Suzanne Collins bestselling novels into one of the defining dystopian sagas of the 21st century. Set in a totalitarian future, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) becomes the reluctant symbol of rebellion after surviving televised death tournaments designed to control the masses. Blending YA dystopian sci-fi, survival action, and political allegory, the saga balances thrilling spectacle with themes of oppression, resistance, and sacrifice.
