A man attends a dinner party at his ex-wifes home, where the gathering slowly reveals itself as part of a disturbing cult ritual. Karyn Kusamas The Invitation is a claustrophobic psychological thriller and horror hybrid, praised for its slow-burn tension, paranoia, and shocking cult climax.

Reluctantly accepting a dinner party invitation from his ex-wife at the house they once shared, Will and his new partner gather with old friends to toast new beginnings.  But Will and his ex-wife share a tragic past, and as paranoia mounts and tensions build, he begins to wonder what is real and what is imagined. The claustrophobic evening grows increasingly sinister until a shocking revelation is made in this highly-acclaimed and taut psychological thriller.
