Directed by Jean Rollin, The Living Dead Girl is a French exploitation horror centered on a resurrected young woman whose condition drives an escalating trail of violence and decay. Blending gothic melancholy with graphic splatter, the film explores obsession, desire, and moral collapse through Rollins signature Euro-horror lens. A stark example of early-1980s French sleaze cinema, defined by atmosphere over conventional plotting.
