Directed by Neil Burger, The Marsh Kings Daughter stars Daisy Ridley as Helena, a woman whose secluded childhood concealed the fact that her mother had been kidnapped by her father. When he escapes from prison, Helena must use the tracking and survival skills he taught her to protect her husband and daughter. Based on Karen Dionnes book, the psychological thriller also stars Ben Mendelsohn and Garrett Hedlund and moves between buried childhood trauma and a dangerous confrontation in the wilderness.
