Alex Kurtzmans The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella, reimagines the classic monster story as an action-horror adventure set in modern times. When an ancient princess is awakened from her tomb, a curse spreads across the world, pulling a soldier of fortune into a supernatural battle. Mixing horror mythology, big-budget action, and the attempted Dark Universe franchise setup, the film explores power, resurrection, and destiny.
