Directed by Nick Love, The Sweeney (2012) stars Ray Winstone, Ben Drew, Hayley Atwell and Damian Lewis in a British action crime film based on the classic 1970s TV series. Set around Londons Flying Squad, the film follows hard-line detective Jack Regan and his team as they use aggressive methods against armed criminals. The film combines police action, heists, corruption pressure and modern London crime.
