The Transporter 2 (2005), directed by Louis Leterrier and produced by Luc Besson, is the second installment in the Transporter action franchise. Jason Statham returns as professional driver Frank Martin, who becomes involved in a kidnapping plot targeting the son of a high-ranking government official. The film continues the series focus on contract-based transport missions, high-speed vehicular action, and stylized hand-to-hand combat within an organized crime framework.
