Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Henry Fonda and Vera Miles, The Wrong Man tells the true story of New York musician Manny Balestrero, who is mistakenly identified as an armed robber and drawn into the criminal justice system. As Manny tries to prove his innocence, the ordeal takes an increasingly severe psychological toll on his wife Rose. Hitchcock shot extensively at locations connected to the real case and adopted an unusually documentary-like approach.
