Directed by Odahiro Watanabe and produced by Studio Pierrot, Tokyo Ghoul:re continues Sui Ishidas dark fantasy and horror series two years after the events of Tokyo Ghoul √A. Natsuki Hanae voices Haise Sasaki, a CCG investigator with a concealed connection to Ken Kaneki who leads the experimental Quinx Squad in the fight against Tokyos ghouls. As Haise begins recovering fragments of his former identity, the conflict expands to involve the Aogiri Tree organisation, the One-Eyed King and the continuing struggle between humans and ghouls. The anime combines supernatural horror, animated action and body transformation with the conclusion of Kanekis story.
