Directed by Shūhei Morita and produced by Studio Pierrot, Tokyo Ghoul adapts Sui Ishidas manga about Ken Kaneki, a university student transformed into a half-human, half-ghoul hybrid after a violent encounter. Forced to survive on human flesh while trying to preserve his humanity, Kaneki is drawn into the hidden world of Tokyos ghouls and the conflict between them and the Commission of Counter Ghoul. Featuring the voices of Natsuki Hanae, Sora Amamiya, Kana Hanazawa and Mamoru Miyano, the anime combines supernatural horror, animated action and dark fantasy with body transformation and psychological conflict.
