Directed by Danny Boyle and reuniting the original cast including Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle, T2 Trainspotting revisits the characters from the 1996 film two decades later. The film explores aging, regret, addiction and friendship while returning to the working-class environments and dark humor associated with the original story by Irvine Welsh. It combines drama, social commentary and stylized filmmaking with reflections on nostalgia and changing adulthood.
