Directed by Danny Boyle, Trance follows an art auctioneer who becomes entangled with criminals after a valuable painting disappears during a robbery. As hypnosis is used to recover lost memories, the story fractures into shifting perspectives where perception and truth are constantly questioned. The film blends crime mechanics with psychological manipulation, creating a disorienting and tension-driven narrative.
