Directed by Olivier Megaton and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, Transporter 3 (2008) continues the action franchise led by Jason Statham as professional driver Frank Martin. The story follows Frank as he is forced into transporting a kidnapped woman across Europe while being controlled by a lethal device that prevents him from leaving his vehicle. Featuring Robert Knepper as the primary antagonist, the film expands the franchises action scope while maintaining its European crime-thriller foundation and signature vehicular set pieces.
