Cult classic directed by Charlie Ahearn which explores the thriving underground hip-hop scene in early 1980s New York City. Raymond (Lee Quiñones) is a young graffiti artist known as Zoro who wants to find success without selling out as he feels others around him have done. As he battles his family's disapproval, he meets Virginia (Patti Astor), a journalist in search of a story. The cast and featured performers also include Fab 5 Freddy, Lady Pink, Zephyr and Grandmaster Flash.
