Directed by Douglas Hickox and starring Burt Lancaster and Peter OToole, Zulu Dawn portrays the British defeat at the Battle of Isandlwana during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. The film focuses on military leadership, colonial tensions, and the strategic failures that led to one of the British Armys most devastating defeats. Often viewed as a companion to Zulu (1964), the film presents a large-scale historical war depiction centered on battlefield realism and command decisions.

Från IMDB:
A dramatization of the Battle of Isandlwana, where the British Army met its match against the Zulu nation.
