ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Interior paint with very good coverage for tinting on a base of polymer binders, highest quality covering pigments and selected snow-white marble powders. For use on walls and ceilings.

It is characterized by exceptional resistance to scrubbing and repeated washing, which means that the resulting coatings do not absorb dirt and "difficult" stains and are resistant to detergents. Ideal for application on concrete substrates, cement and lime plasters, polymer and gypsum plasters, gypsum boards and other mineral surfaces.

Suitable forrooms with difficult operating conditions: conference rooms, public facilities, stairwells, dining rooms and other places exposed to intensive use, potential soiling and mechanical loads (rubbing).

‼ ATTENTION ‼

Due to various substrates and well-developed processing technology, our paints have an extended drying time on the wall.

Therefore, it is necessary to wait at least 4 hours between paintings, because shortening it results in worse coverage, and thus the need for another painting of the wall. This is the most common mistake in painting, because when painting the next layer, the previous one, not yet set, becomes softened and eventually mixes with the unset coating of the next layer. With such a painting mechanism, even after 4-5 layers, the paint will not effectively cover the substrate.

** Before painting, for surface preparation, we recommend using NIKKI primers. The primers are concentrated and require dilution with water in the ratio indicated on the label. Using primers not diluted according to the instructions on the package may result in poor coverage and lead to coating cracking!

Using primers from other manufacturers may lead to poor coverage and surface cracking.

In the set, we recommend the following primers:

STEP-BY-STEP APPLICATION:

STEP I – substrate preparation:

• substrates must be dry, clean, load-bearing and free from dirt, dust, grease stains, anti-adhesive agents from formwork and all substances that reduce adhesion to the substrate and may cause discoloration on the surface of dried paint.

STEP II – priming:

• mix the primer before use. For dusty and sandy substrates, application with a brush is recommended. Before painting, it is recommended to dilute the primer with water in a 1:1 ratio. Apply the primer in one, even and continuous layer.

STEP III – product preparation:

• thoroughly mix the paint to obtain a homogeneous consistency. To obtain a thinner consistency, you can add a small amount of clean cold water - do not exceed a glass of water (0.25L) per 10-liter bucket. Do not aerate the paint during mixing by using too high mixer speeds.

• do not add any accelerators, retarders or other additives to the paint.

STEP IV – painting:

• paint inside rooms at ambient and substrate temperature from +10°C to +30°C.

• apply two coats of paint with a brush, roller or hydrodynamic spray – at intervals of about 4 h.

• carefully and evenly apply the same amount of paint per unit area of wall or ceiling.

• the last stroke with a roller or brush should be done in one direction.

• the paint coating achieves full durability properties after 28 days from the completion of painting work.
