Psycho II (1983)
Directed by Richard Franklin, Psycho II brings Anthony Perkins back as Norman Bates more than twenty years after the events of Alfred Hitchcocks Psycho. Psycho III (1986)
Directed by Anthony Perkins, Psycho III brings Norman Bates back to the Bates Motel for another chapter in the Psycho series. Anthony Perkins also stars alongside Diana Scarwid, Jeff Fahey and Roberta Maxwell in a sequel where guilt, obsession, murder and Normans fractured relationship with Mother continue to shape the horror. Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990)
Directed by Mick Garris, Psycho IV: The Beginning brings Anthony Perkins back as Norman Bates in the fourth film in the Psycho series. Henry Thomas plays the young Norman, with Olivia Hussey as Norma Bates and CCH Pounder in a story that connects Normans present with the childhood trauma behind the Bates Motel murders. The film combines psychological horror, serial-killer backstory and franchise mythology tied to one of horror cinemas most famous characters.
