About the product:

Metal paint directly on rust4in1is a water-based, universal, covering paint produced in four degrees of gloss (high gloss, satin, semi-matte, matte) for painting directly on rust (without the need for primer) all metal surfaces in order to improve, create or supplement the anti-corrosion coating and aesthetic qualities.

After drying, the paint creates a flexible coating resistant to changing weather conditions, typical dirt, photoaging, UV radiation, and color loss. It is characterized by very high scratch resistance (highest in the gloss version). Thanks to the use of modern corrosion inhibitors and adhesion promoters, it can be used also where there is no possibility of precise surface preparation before painting. Due to the lack of organic solvents, it is friendly to the environment and user, since it does not contain potentially hazardous substances. Thanks to high flexibility, the coating is resistant to cracking and peeling, and its exceptionally high adhesion ensures coating integrity on the most demanding substrates, also those where preparation possibilities are limited.

- 1 L = 8-12 m2 at one layer;

Exact consumption must be determined by performing a test on the object.

Resistance to washing off by rain after application: after 6 hours.

Application of next layer of paint: after 30-60 min.

Best before: 24 months.

APPLICATION:

• outdoors and indoors;

• on horizontal and vertical surfaces;

• as a protective and finishing layer;

• to achieve optimal protection, recommended application of two layers;

• to increase anti-corrosion protection, recommended coating thickness ensuring appropriate protection method and coating durability is 100-160 microns.

It is not recommended to use in the case of metal structures placed in the ground, because:

• Soil contains moisture, salts and other factors accelerating corrosion.
• Paints on rust are not sufficiently resistant to long-term contact with moisture and biological factors.

DRYING:

• the paint dries within approx. 30-60 min in normal conditions (20°C, 60% air humidity). On heated surface, this time may be significantly shortened;

• drying time depends on temperature and air humidity, type of substrate and layer thickness;

• full hardening of the coating occurs after 24 hours, and the coating achieves full strength after 28 days of curing in standard conditions.
