New Zealand wool

The wool in the shoes comes from sheep from New Zealand. This means you get a product that has much greater durability and abrasion resistance than the types of wool you usually experience in the textile industry.

OPTIMAL CARE FOR YOUR SHUS SLIPPERS

1. Freshen up by airing

Wool slippers have a natural ability to self-clean. Let your SHUS slippers rest sometimes and air them regularly to maintain their freshness.

2. Remove stains gently

If stains occur, we recommend gentle cleaning of the shoes, by dabbing the stain with a lightly damp cloth and wool detergent. Repeat the process if necessary, always make sure the slippers are dry before repeating the stain removal process.

3. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner

Keep your SHUS slippers free from dust by vacuuming or gently blowing them clean. Leather soles can be cleaned with a leather brush.

4. Care for rubber soles

Wipe the rubber soles with a damp cloth and make sure they dry thoroughly after cleaning.

5. Be aware of slip hazards

Natural rubber and leather soles can become slippery on wet or cold surfaces such as clinker or tiles.

6. Remove excess wool

During the first use and the following first 3-4 times, you will find that your SHUS slippers \"shed\" a little extra wool. This is due to the natural treatment of the wool. Simply remove excess wool and use your SHUS slippers as usual.
