Alias (2001 2006)

Alias follows Sydney Bristow, a graduate student secretly working as a double agent within a global espionage network, as she navigates shifting loyalties, covert missions, and the dangerous legacy of a mysterious criminal organization. The series combines high-concept spy intrigue with serialized character drama, weaving in themes of identity, trust, and family secrets. Its blend of action, mythology, and emotional stakes made it a defining early-2000s entry in the modern spy-thriller genre.

Från IMDB:
Sydney Bristow agrees to become an international spy for a secret branch of the CIA. The secrecy complicates her social and love lives, but its nothing compared to what happens when she finds out her employer has no ties to the CIA.
