Directed by Joel Schumacher, Batman & Robin (1997) continues the DC Comics series with George Clooney as Bruce Wayne. Batman and Robin face Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy in a stylized version of Gotham City marked by heightened visuals and comic-book aesthetics. The film emphasizes spectacle, exaggerated villains, and a colorful tone distinct from later darker interpretations of the character.
