Directed by Peter Hewitt and starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, Bill & Teds Bogus Journey follows Bill and Ted after they are murdered by evil robotic doubles and forced to travel through the afterlife in an attempt to return to the world of the living. Combining comedy, fantasy and science-fiction elements, the film centers on the afterlife, alternate versions of the heroes, Death himself and a battle to protect the future that depends on their music. The story expands the Bill & Ted universe with surreal imagery, supernatural concepts and offbeat comedy.

ONCE... THEY MADE HISTORY. NOW... THEY ARE HISTORY.

In 1991, director Peter Hewitt kicked things into a whole new dimension with Bill & Teds Bogus Journey, a sequel that trades time-travel hijinks for a wildly inventive trip through the afterlife. Reuniting Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as the dim-but-destined heroes, this bodacious blockbuster pushes the series into darker, weirder and even more excellent territory.

When evil robot doubles of Bill and Ted are sent back to ruin their future, the real dudes find themselves facingan untimely demise. Cast into the beyond, they must outwit Death himself, navigate Heaven, Hell and everything inbetween, and find a way back to save their babes and get back in time for the Battle of the Bands.

Packed with surreal visuals, quotable gags and a totally righteous turn from William Sadler as Death, Bill & Teds Bogus Journey is a most non-heinous blend of comedy, fantasy and sci-fi strange, hilarious, and still totally triumphant.
