Blakes 7 (1978 1981)

Blakes 7 follows political dissident Roj Blake as he escapes from a totalitarian Federation and forms a small, uneasy crew aboard the advanced starship Liberator. The series blends space-opera adventure with themes of rebellion, authoritarian control, and the moral ambiguities inherent in resistance movements. Its episodic missions, shifting alliances, and stark, character-focused storytelling give it a distinctive place within late-1970s British science fiction.
