Based on the manga by Tite Kubo, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War continues the long-running supernatural action anime with a large-scale conflict between the Soul Reapers and the Quincy empire. The series combines sword combat, supernatural powers and apocalyptic fantasy elements while expanding the mythology and war-driven storyline of the Bleach universe. The anime is strongly associated with modern shonen action and supernatural battle anime.
