Directed by Derek Cianfrance, Blue Valentine stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams in an intimate romantic drama about a marriage in decline. The film follows the couple across different periods of their relationship, contrasting the excitement of falling in love with the realities of emotional distance and personal frustration.
