Double bill of 1980s street dance dramas. In 'Breakdance - The Movie' (1984) Kelly (Lucinda Dickey) is a dance student who has grown restless with the tired old techniques her teachers are teaching. When she meets street kids Ozone (Adolpo Quinones) and Turbo (Michael Chambers), she gets introduced to breakdancing and realises that this is exactly what she has been looking for. In the sequel 'Breakdance 2' (1984), the trio are now helping out at a community centre, teaching dance to kids and generally bringing a bit of joy to the neighbourhood. When they hear that a capitalist developer has plans to bulldoze the centre in order to make way for a shopping mall, they decide to take a stand and set about proving once again that breakdancing can triumph over adversity.
