Directed by William Asher, Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker stars Jimmy McNichol as teenager Billy Lynch, whose plans to leave home are threatened by the increasingly possessive and unstable aunt who raised him, played by Susan Tyrrell. Bo Svenson co-stars as a detective drawn into the violence surrounding Billy. Also known as Night Warning, the film mixes psychological horror, family obsession and slasher elements with a deliberately uncomfortable early-1980s exploitation edge
