Clerks (1994) is Kevin Smiths cult indie comedy about two slacker store clerks navigating customers, relationships, and existential banter over the course of one chaotic day. Famous for its sharp dialogue, black-and-white indie style, and introduction of Jay & Silent Bob, it became a landmark in 90s American independent cinema.

Clerks II (2006) revisits Dante and Randal as they trade convenience-store life for fast-food drudgery, sparking raunchy debates, new relationships, and classic Jay & Silent Bob antics. Mixing outrageous comedy with heartfelt moments, it modernized the slacker formula for a new generation.

Clerks III (2022) finds Randal surviving a heart attack and deciding to make a movie about his and Dantes lives behind the counter. Blending meta-humor, nostalgia, and heartfelt reflection, it closes the trilogy as both a comedy and a moving story of friendship and mortality.
