Directed by Karyn Kusama, Destroyer (2018) stars Nicole Kidman as a damaged Los Angeles detective forced to confront the consequences of a failed undercover operation from her past. The film follows her investigation into the return of a violent gang leader while trauma, guilt and obsession begin resurfacing across multiple timelines. Combining neo-noir crime storytelling with psychological tension and urban decay, the story explores corruption, revenge and personal collapse.
