Based on Capcoms Devil May Cry video game series, Devil May Cry: The Animated Series follows demon hunter Dante as he takes on supernatural jobs through his Devil May Cry agency while battling creatures from the demon world. Armed with his sword Rebellion and twin pistols Ebony and Ivory, Dante becomes involved in a series of increasingly dangerous cases that gradually reveal a larger demonic threat. Produced by Madhouse, the 12-episode anime combines supernatural horror, demon hunting and stylised action while expanding the world and characters of the games.
