Based on Go Nagais influential manga Devilman, Devilman Crybaby follows sensitive teenager Akira Fudo, who merges with the demon Amon while retaining his human soul. As demons re-emerge and paranoia spreads through society, Akira is drawn into an increasingly brutal conflict between humanity and demonkind. Directed by Masaaki Yuasa, the ten-episode anime combines extreme horror, apocalyptic violence and a tragic story of friendship, identity and humanity.
