Peter Capaldi stars in his final adventure as the Twelfth Doctor, joined by David Bradley as the First Doctor and Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts. Stranded in a frozen landscape while both Doctors resist regeneration, they encounter a British army captain taken from the First World War and a mysterious race of glass beings connected to memories of the dead. Twice Upon a Time brings the Twelfth Doctors era to a close and culminates in his regeneration into Jodie Whittakers Thirteenth Doctor.
