Directed by Alan Gibson, Dracula A.D. 1972 brings Hammers Dracula series into contemporary London, with Christopher Lee returning as Count Dracula and Peter Cushing as Van Helsings descendant. Stephanie Beacham and Christopher Neame co-star in a gothic vampire horror film where occult ritual, youth culture and modern London collide with Hammers classic Dracula mythology. The film combines period-linked Dracula lore, supernatural horror and early 1970s British horror style.
