Directed by Rob Cohen, Dragonheart (1996) tells the story of a disillusioned knight (Dennis Quaid) who forms an unlikely bond with the last living dragon (voiced by Sean Connery) to challenge a tyrannical king. Combining medieval adventure, moral allegory, and groundbreaking CGI, it remains a landmark in 90s fantasy cinema a tale of honor, friendship, and sacrifice.

Dragonheart: A New Beginning (1999) continues the legacy with a new generation of heroes and a young dragon named Drake. When a stable boy befriends the last dragon, they must prove that peace between man and dragon can survive. A smaller-scale but heartfelt family fantasy that carries forward the spirit of the original.

Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerers Curse (2015) serves as a medieval prequel following an aspiring knight who discovers the power of a dragons heart and forms a bond that defies dark magic. With Ben Kingsley voicing the dragon, it returns the saga to its mythic roots courage, loyalty, and legend reborn.

In Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire (2017), two royal twins one driven by power, the other by compassion clash over the throne and the magical bond to a mighty dragon (voiced by Patrick Stewart). Set in a mythic medieval world, the film blends action, family conflict, and fantasy tradition in the ongoing Dragonheart saga.
