Drop (2025), directed by Christopher Landon, is a high-concept thriller set during a tense first date that spirals into danger. When anonymous digital messages begin threatening her family, a widowed mother must follow escalating instructions while trying to uncover who is controlling the situation. The film blends real-time suspense with modern technological paranoia, building tension through psychological pressure rather than physical spectacle.
