Tim Burtons Edward Scissorhands, starring Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, is a gothic fantasy romance about a gentle outsider with blades for hands who struggles to fit into suburban life. Blending fairy-tale whimsy with gothic melancholy, it has become one of Burtons most iconic and enduring films.

Från IMDB:
The solitary life of an artificial man - who was incompletely constructed and has scissors for hands - is upended when he is taken in by a suburban family.
