Directed by Jon Favreau, Elf stars Will Ferrell as Buddy, a human raised by Santas elves who leaves the North Pole to find his biological father in New York City. James Caan plays Buddys reluctant father, while Zooey Deschanel co-stars as a department-store employee drawn into his attempt to bring Christmas spirit to the city.
