In Roy Anderssons A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, two weary novelty salesmen drift through a series of deadpan tableaux that quietly expose the absurdity, cruelty, and melancholy of human life. Through static compositions and surreal everyday encounters, the film reflects on love, power, history, and existential fatigue. A dryly comic, philosophically charged portrait of modern existence.

Från IMDB:
Sam and Jonathan, a pair of hapless novelty salesmen, embark on a tour of the human condition in reality and fantasy that unfold in a series of absurdist episodes.
