Directed by Genki Kawamura, Exit 8 is based on the video game of the same name and follows a character navigating a looping underground passage while searching for an exit. The story centers on repeated environments where subtle changes signal danger, creating a structured experience built on observation and pattern recognition. The film adapts the games premise of identifying anomalies within a confined space.
