Falling Skies (2011 2015)

Falling Skies follows a group of survivors in the aftermath of an alien invasion that devastates major cities and disrupts global infrastructure. The series blends post-apocalyptic drama with science-fiction elements as the resistance movement, led in part by former history professor Tom Mason, fights to protect families, rebuild communities, and understand the motives of multiple extraterrestrial factions. Its mix of survival themes, shifting alliances, and evolving threats shapes a long-form story about resilience in a world reshaped by occupation.
