Directed by Ingmar Bergman, Fanny and Alexander (1983) is an Academy Award winning Swedish drama that explores childhood, family, and imagination in early 20th-century Sweden. Winner of four Oscars, including Best Foreign Language Film, the story follows siblings navigating loss, authority, and emotional repression. Blending realism with moments of the uncanny, it stands as one of Bergmans most expansive and personal works.
