Fawlty Towers (1975 1979)

Fawlty Towers follows the misadventures of Basil Fawlty, the irritable owner of a small Torquay hotel, whose attempts to manage guests and staff often spiral into chaos through misunderstandings and escalating farce. The series blends tightly constructed comedy with character-driven interactions, highlighting the contrasts between Basils impatience, Sybils practicality, Pollys resourcefulness, and Manuels confusion. Its concise structure and fast-paced scenarios form a classic portrait of situational humor in a confined setting.

Från IMDB:
Hotel owner Basil Fawltys incompetence, short fuse, and arrogance form a combination that ensures accidents and trouble are never far away.
